Christian Dimick
Shared Lines: Aotearoa in Japan exhibiting artist
Surface Work, Photography/drawing, 2019
Aviophobia effects 6.5% of the population. Surface work is an attempt to translate this condition through photography and experimental drawing. As the plane approaches the brace position is taken, prepared for the inevitable.
Christian Dimick is a multimedia artist whose practice is constantly evolving. Primarily focusing on exploring the effects of man-made issues that span from global warming to generalised anxiety. Now entering his 3rd year of a bachelor of Fine Arts at Massey University in Wellington, he aims to continue to observe the human condition and continue to create work which forces one self to reconsider their impact on the planet.
